• *Job Description:**
+ Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
+ Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
+ Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists.
+ Monitor patient progress, regularly review, and adjust care plans based on patient responses and outcomes.
+ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure everyone is informed and involved in the care process.
• *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
• Skills required to work in the emergency department as defined by unit
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise the plan of care according to patient outcomes
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills
• Able to navigate and manage multiple priorities
• Uses independent discretion/decision-making
• Able to make decisions under pressure
• Manages anger/fear/hostility
• Manages stress appropriately
• Works alone effectively
• Able to work effectively in close proximity to others and/or in a distracting environment
• Works with others effectively
• Fluent in the English language (spoken and written)
• Demonstrates commitment to purposeful hourly visits and other established consumer experience strategies
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and valid AHA Advanced life support certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
• Internship and/or preceptorship dependent upon nursing experience
• Unit-specific competencies met per orientation pathway
• The majority of employees will require a minimum of 12 months after orientation completed to achieve proficiency

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
