In our Emergency Department, you will encounter a diverse array of cases, from trauma to common illnesses and substance-related emergencies. Our collaborative team comprises Registered Nurses (RNs), Advanced Providers, Nursing Assistants, and administrative staff, all committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Our facility includes 23 beds, a fast-track area, and behavioral health support. As a vital member of our team, you will be instrumental in accommodating various patient needs, including behavioral health and opioid-related challenges. We pride ourselves on our teamwork, flexibility, and proactive approach to patient care.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, you will implement evidence-based practices based on the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Your nursing expertise will help develop comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Qualifications
• EXPERIENCE: At least one year of RN experience is required, along with a solid foundation in nursing processes and excellent customer service principles. National certification in your specialty is preferred.
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within three months of hire.
• QUALIFICATIONS: A current CT RN license or evidence of the licensing process, along with graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
