As one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Connecticut, our Rock Star RNs provide care for patients with the highest acuity. In our 109-bed ED, along with a 19-bed ED Observation Unit, we treat around 109,000 patients annually. Our department is recognized for excellence and is home to a chest pain center, comprehensive stroke center, and Life Star—the state's first critical care helicopter service. We are proud recipients of the prestigious National Lantern Award for Excellence in Nursing.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required (ASN/ADN RNs with relevant experience may be considered).
• Current Connecticut RN license required prior to start date.
• Preferred: Previous acute care RN experience, although new graduate RNs excited about Emergency Medicine are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required before the hire date.
