A registered nurse position is available in the Emergency Department of a community hospital, providing critical care to patients in urgent and emergent situations. This role requires advanced clinical skills and the ability to apply the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. You will exercise sound judgment, anticipate patient needs, and lead a team to ensure safe, effective patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Manage patient care for Emergency Room patients with clinical expertise and critical thinking. • Maintain current competencies through ongoing education. • Delegate responsibilities and provide supervision to healthcare staff based on their experience and education. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. • May be required to float between two regional campuses according to patient census needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state RN license. • Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Room nursing experience. • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC through the American Heart Association. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong leadership and communication skills.
