Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced adult emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Contract Details
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule
• Shift Options:
• 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM
• 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Compensation
• Local Pay: $2,242 – $2,346 weekly
• Travel Pay: $2,760 – $2,900 weekly

(Pay dependent on experience and employment arrangement)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to adult emergency room patients
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Initiate and manage IV therapy and perform phlebotomy
• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in emergency situations

Licensure & Certifications
• Active New York State RN license required (compact licenses not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Required Clinical Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of adult Emergency Room nursing experience
• Strong IV insertion and phlebotomy skills required
• Experience with conscious sedation required
