An experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Department expertise is needed for a dynamic Float Pool role supporting multiple units and emergency holds. This contract opportunity requires flexibility to float between two campuses and adapt to varied clinical settings. Qualifications: • Valid New Jersey or Compact RN license at time of application • Minimum 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) nursing • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred • Ability to work flexible schedules, including every other weekend and holiday on rotation • Flu vaccination compliance required with no declinations accepted Responsibilities include: • Providing nursing care across MST units and Emergency Department holds as needed • Adapting to float between multiple locations to support staffing needs • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care • Maintaining documentation accuracy within the Cerner system • Adhering to facility policies including shift make-up requirements for any missed shifts This role demands clinical versatility, strong critical thinking, and commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced environment.
