This contract position offers 13 weeks of valuable experience working mainly in adult emergency care with opportunities to support the Pediatric ER approximately one shift per week. Qualifications / Desired Experience: • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Emergency Room experience • Adult and Pediatric emergency nursing experience required • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification • Willingness to float to the Pediatric ER approximately one shift per week • Declination accepted only for booster vaccines; no religious or medical declinations accepted for flu or COVID series Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Room • Assess, monitor, and triage patients with varying degrees of medical urgency • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with patients and families • Adapt to floating assignments in the Pediatric ER as needed Schedule / Hours: • 36/48-hour shifts • Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM (specific days discussed during the interview) Additional Details: • The position offers a quick interview and hiring process due to strong relationships with department leadership • Locals are invited to apply and will be considered at the same rate Take the next step in your nursing career by applying for this rewarding ER position in Cranston, RI.
