This role offers an opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to provide critical care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting. The position involves working 12-hour evening shifts, requiring expertise in acute care management and the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic clinical situations. The schedule includes every other weekend coverage, with specific time-off policies designed to maintain work-life balance. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients, utilizing critical thinking and acute care skills. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize and assess patients efficiently. • Utilize electronic charting systems (Cerner) to maintain accurate and timely patient records. • Participate in mandatory floating within scope to meet facility staffing needs. • Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, ensuring patient and staff safety. • Provide compassionate support to patients and families during emergency situations. Qualifications: • Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in an Emergency Department. • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; PALS preferred. • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. • Ability to work evening shifts of 3x12 hours (3:00 PM 3:30 AM). • Local candidates within 75 miles preferred. • Willingness to float as required by facility. Schedule: • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3:00 PM 3:30 AM) • Every other weekend coverage (2 weekends per month) • Return-to-Office (RTO) limited to 5 days per month, with restrictions around holidays and weekends. This contract assignment offers guaranteed 36 hours per week in a stimulating emergency care environment.
