Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Millinocket, ME in Millinocket, ME

This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in emergency care, located in Millinocket, ME. This contract role requires a valid RN license in Maine or a compact state and current, unexpired certifications. The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department, performing thorough assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications / Desired Experience: • Current Maine RN license or compact license • BSN preferred • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of nursing assessments and skills across all age groups • Current immunizations including varicella, HepB (or declination), MMR, Tdap, PPD, and annual flu shot during flu season • Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including patient lifting up to 30 lbs.
