Deliver expert nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting located in O'Fallon, MO. This contract opportunity requires a motivated Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience to provide comprehensive patient care for all age groups in accordance with established nursing practices and facility standards. Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care activities in the Emergency Department. • Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. • Adhere to nursing protocols consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies. • Maintain clear, effective communication and demonstrate clinical expertise in emergency nursing. • Ability and willingness to float to other units as required. Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a temporary work permit. • Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience. • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC. • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, specifically EPIC. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and handle patient lifting and mobility tasks. Schedule & Hours: • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 • Weekend hours as required by the facility Additional Information: • Flu vaccination is required for all travelers during the flu season (November 1 – April 1), with client-approved exemptions. • Dress code includes black scrubs; inappropriate attire is not allowed.
