Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Pahala, HI in Pahala, HI

A Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience is needed to support a small critical access hospital serving a close-knit community. Responsibilities: • Provide emergency nursing care with a minimum of two years’ experience in an Emergency Department. • Deliver nursing support across acute and long-term care units. • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as needed for both acute and LTC patients. • Work a schedule of six 12-hour shifts per two-week period (72 hours total), including every third weekend off. • Serve as a flexible resource, covering ER and backup responsibilities in other nursing areas when patient load varies. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Active RN license with at least two years in Emergency Department nursing. • Must obtain and maintain an active Hawaii RN license before the start of the assignment (applicants without a Hawaii license must apply immediately upon offer acceptance). • Ability to adapt in a multi-functional role across ER, acute, and LTC settings. • Willingness to comply with required onboarding steps, including arrival the Thursday before start for employee health appointments.
