Position Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Work Location: Panama City, Florida (Onsite) Shift Details • Night Shift • Rotating weekends required Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a patient-centered approach to care. You will manage cases ranging from minor injuries to critically ill patients while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in an emergency care setting • Develop individualized plans of care based on patient condition and expected outcomes • Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while continuously prioritizing care needs • Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute and emergent conditions • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and hospital departments to ensure timely treatment • Deliver discharge instructions, education, and follow-up care recommendations • Maintain patient safety, quality standards, and accurate clinical documentation at all times Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience (within the last year) • Strong ICU or PCU background may be considered • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license • Must be obtained prior to start date if relocating • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to start date • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 90 days of hire • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of hire For more details reach at jmckenzie@navitashealth.com About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
