Schedule: • Night shifts, 3x12-hour rotations (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) • Rotating schedule across six-week cycles including varied days to support ED coverage Qualifications and Experience: • Valid RN license in North Carolina or multistate compact license • Minimum 4 years experience as an ER RN with at least 1 year in charge nurse role and travel nursing preferred • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred • Expertise in ventilators, IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system • Must provide a valid drivers license for address verification before hire • Must reside more than 40 miles from the facility per local requirements Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population • Perform advanced assessments and interventions, including managing ventilators and sedation • Triage patients efficiently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams • Lead and support charge nurse duties during shifts, ensuring smooth operations • Utilize EPIC for documentation and communication to maintain accurate medical records This contract role offers a dynamic work environment where strong clinical skills and leadership are essential.
