An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. This position offers a contract role at a respected medical center specializing in trauma and stroke treatment, where independent function and critical decision-making are essential. Location: Hollywood, FL Hollywood is a vibrant city known for its beautiful beaches, diverse culinary scene, and warm climate. Schedule: • Nights • 3x 12-hour shifts (7:30 PM 7:00 AM) • Every other weekend rotation Responsibilities: • Deliver expert nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Emergency Room environment. • Manage acute care patients independently during night shifts. • Monitor and assess patients with stroke and trauma conditions. • Utilize Epic electronic health records system efficiently to document patient care. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Active Florida or Compact RN license. • Current ACLS and BLS certification via AHA or ARC. • TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required upon submission. • Graduate of an accredited nursing school or a program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. • Minimum 3-5 years of recent acute care experience in a U.S. hospital setting, with experience in Level 2 Trauma ER and stroke care. • Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system. • Ability to function independently in high-pressure situations.
