Provide critical care in a dynamic emergency room setting at a 28-bed department that includes trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring units. This role requires a dedicated professional to deliver fast-paced, team-oriented care with an emphasis on rapid patient turnover and comprehensive emergency nursing. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room, including trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac cases. • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to manage acute patient needs. • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to facility protocols. • Support patient stabilization and prepare for further treatment or transfer. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Hawaii required before the assignment start. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. • Preferred certifications include Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and communication skills. • Commitment to arriving Thursday before the assignment start for required employee health appointments. Schedule: • 15-week contract. • Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours), with no guaranteed hours.
