An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room and acute care to provide essential night shift coverage in a small rural critical access hospital setting. This role requires a proactive, confident nurse capable of handling triage responsibilities and serving as the night shift lead for the Emergency Room. In addition to managing emergency cases, the RN will oversee the care team during the night, including a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Certified Nursing Assistant, as well as supervise long-term care nursing and CNA staff. Key Qualifications: • Active RN licensure with experience in Emergency Room and acute care nursing • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred • Strong triage skills and ability to make independent clinical decisions • Leadership aptitude to supervise night shift care and coordinate with long-term care staff • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in non-ER nursing duties such as patient rounds and toileting Location: This role is based in a quaint rural town in Montana, known for its western charm and welcoming small-town atmosphere.
