An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in emergency care to provide support in a high-paced hospital environment. Location: This role is based in Palmdale, California, a vibrant community in the Antelope Valley region known for its scenic desert landscapes and close-knit neighborhoods. Schedule/Hours: • Mid Shift • 3 shifts per week • 12-hour shifts (15:00 - 03:30) Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients • Assess patient conditions and prioritize treatment according to urgency • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Monitor patient progress and document care thoroughly • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines Desired Experience and Qualifications: • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current certification in Emergency Nursing preferred • Demonstrated experience in emergency room nursing or acute care settings • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Up-to-date CPR and ACLS certifications This is a contract opportunity to support emergency nursing services within a dynamic healthcare setting.
