Key Responsibilities: • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department. • Provide age-appropriate direct patient care across the lifespan. • Maintain patient safety and care quality through adherence to department and specialty-specific standards. • Assume leadership duties including delegation and supervision of nursing support staff. • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and facility policies. • Maintain active certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training prior to assignment. If certifications are not current, arrange training sessions before orientation.
