
Emergency Room Registered Nurse - PRN in Cloudcroft, NM
Job Description
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a compassionate and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in a PRN capacity, where you will provide vital care in critical situations. In this role, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independence and sound judgment while addressing the complex needs of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Meet the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in alignment with your level of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, while monitoring for side effects and assessing treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided meticulously.
• Identify patient and family education needs, providing resources and support.
Qualifications:
• Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
Position Requirements:
• Newly hired experienced RNs will complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days.
• Receive guidance from a designated preceptor during onboarding and competency validation specific to the Emergency Department.
• Successfully meet all annual competency verification requirements.
Note: All associates must acquire necessary certifications within designated time frames based on experience level.
