POSITION SUMMARY: As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Your role will involve coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient management. You will be responsible for communicating the patient's clinical condition and responding promptly to changes in their condition or treatment response. You will apply your knowledge of growth, development, and age-appropriate care to serve our diverse patient population. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will also promote nursing professionalism through collaborative support and interaction. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current RN license in the State of Connecticut. • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or must be obtained during the introductory orientation period. Maintaining clinical competency is also required throughout your employment. COMPETENCIES: • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English. • Basic computer proficiency.
