St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Center in Westport, a vital part of Hartford HealthCare, is a 76-bed facility offering exceptional mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults dealing with mental health challenges and dual diagnosis substance use disorders. Job Summary: As a Graduate Nurse, you will provide dedicated and comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This role allows you to practice nursing under supervision while awaiting your licensing exam results, for a maximum of 90 days post-graduation. You’ll work closely with a licensed Registered Nurse to ensure high standards of care and professional growth. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but an Associate degree is acceptable if a BSN is obtained within 6 years of hire. • Application to sit for the CT RN license must be completed, and licensure achieved within 90 days of graduation. • Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate holistic patient care effectively. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong team-oriented approach.
