
Entry-Level Registered Nurse - Adolescent Psychiatry in Byram, CT
Job Description
Location: 47 Long Lots Rd, Westport (10437)
As a Graduate Nurse (RN) in Adolescent Psychiatry, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our patients. This position allows you to practice temporarily for up to 90 days post-graduation while awaiting your RN licensure. You will work under the supervision of experienced Registered Nurses and report directly to the Unit Manager.
In this role, you will:
• Provide holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care for patients and their families.
• Utilize the nursing process within our organization’s framework for professional practice.
• Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to develop, deliver, and evaluate patient care.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program—Associate's degree minimum (Bachelor's preferred); Associate degree hires must complete a BSN within 6 years of hire.
• Complete application to sit for the CT RN license and obtain licensing within 90 days of graduation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
