Job Summary and Key Responsibilities The HCA Nurse Residency Program at Mission Hospital provides you with critical tools for success in today’s healthcare landscape. As an RN Resident, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care according to department standards. Working closely with medical providers and care teams, you will provide individualized and compassionate support for patients. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Assessing patient conditions during admission and shifts, identifying any changes promptly. • Performing procedures and documenting care thoroughly in patient records. • Administering medications and monitoring patients for responses. • Providing exceptional patient care by anticipating needs and responding to requests. • Teaching patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and next steps. Qualifications: • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. • ACLS certification must be obtained within the first year. • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. • Must have a Registered Nurse License or be a Graduate Nurse in the state. • No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new graduates! • Some traveling may be needed for training purposes.
