EP Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Brooklyn, NY Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift | 3×12-hour shifts (06:00 AM – 06:30 PM) Pay Rate: $58–$64/hour Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced EP Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to support a mixed procedural environment that includes Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology (EP), and Interventional Radiology (IR). This role focuses on pre- and post-procedural nursing care in a shared prep and recovery area. This is a weekday, day-shift assignment with no weekends and no on-call requirements. Responsibilities • Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for Cardiac Cath, EP, and IR patients • Prepare patients and procedural areas while maintaining sterility and safety standards • Administer and monitor medications, including antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, thrombolytics, and procedural sedation • Manage IV therapy, PICC lines, implanted ports, and blood product administration • Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs, dysrhythmias, end-tidal CO₂ monitoring, and cardioversion monitoring • Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, hemostasis techniques, and closure devices • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams using SBAR communication • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and comply with hospital policies and infection control standards • Provide patient education, emotional support, and ensure patient safety and dignity • Float as needed to prep and recovery areas to support unit operations Qualifications • Active New York State RN license • Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience • EPIC documentation experience required • BLS and ACLS certifications required • Experience managing 1:4 patient ratios • Strong background in pre- and post-procedural cardiac care and procedural sedation monitoring • Preferred: Charge nurse experience and prior work in teaching or community hospital settings For more details contact at pmohanty@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-806-4227.
