Provide critical emergency nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting, delivering both direct and indirect patient care with professionalism and minimal supervision. This role requires swift and accurate triage, effective communication with physicians and mid-level providers, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Schedule: • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (11am-11pm) • Includes some weekend shifts Key Responsibilities: • Conduct rapid and accurate patient triage, assessing physical and psychosocial needs. • Provide continuous patient monitoring and respond to changes in condition. • Collaborate with emergency physicians, mid-level providers, and healthcare staff. • Supervise Emergency Department technicians and registration personnel. • Maintain thorough documentation and communicate diagnostic results effectively. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Degree from an accredited nursing program required. • Bachelor of Nursing degree and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience. • Current Montana State RN license. • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC required or to be obtained within six months of hire. • Proficient in Emergency Department nursing protocols, IV skills, and competency with medical equipment. • Basic computer skills and office procedures knowledge.
