A Registered Nurse with emergency room expertise is needed for a contract position in Burnsville, MN. This opportunity involves working night shifts at a well-established hospital, providing critical care in a fast-paced ER environment. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality nursing care in the emergency department. • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management. • Administer medications, perform procedures, and document patient histories accurately. • Assist with unit floating as needed to support varied patient care areas. • Adhere to hospital protocols and compliance standards. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. • Active Registered Nurse license in Minnesota (non-compact state). • Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA only), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, AHA only), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). • Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours per week. • Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and float to other units as needed. • Reliable with a return-to-office requirement of 7 days or less.
