An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Emergency Room (ER) expertise to join a busy hospital in Clarksburg, West Virginia, for a 13-week contract starting in June. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient care in a 33-bed ER setting with a separate fast track area. Schedule/Hours • 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM shifts • 36 hours per week • Holidays rotate with core staff • No floating required Key Responsibilities • Deliver nursing care in both the general ER and the fast track units • Manage patient triage and fast-track evaluations efficiently • Monitor telemetry and interpret strips with confidence • Provide care for a diverse patient population, including 15% pediatric cases • Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants • Participate in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment • Charge nurse duties without patient assignment Qualifications or Desired Experience • Current RN license with ER nursing experience • BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred • Proficient with EPIC EMR system • Ability to manage nurse-to-patient ratios of up to 1:6 in fast track • Comfortable with patients on ventilators and telemetry monitoring Location Clarksburg, West Virginia, offers a scenic and inviting environment with plenty of outdoor activities and cultural attractions.
