ER RN - Essex Junction, Vermont in Burlington, VT

Provide expert nursing care in an emergency room setting, delivering age-specific, direct patient care within a structured framework of departmental standards and specialty patient care protocols. This role involves applying the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively. Leadership responsibilities include delegation of tasks to other team members, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining compliance with all relevant State and Federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with ER nursing experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required before starting the assignment. If not current, proof of a booked course at clinical orientation is necessary.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for emergency care scenarios.
• Ability to lead and delegate responsibilities within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
