ER RN | Hurricane, West Virginia in Culloden, WV

A registered nurse with emergency room experience is needed for a contract role in Hurricane, WV. This position offers 3x12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. Orientation and start dates are available every other Thursday.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in emergency room or related specialty
• Valid WV or Compact RN license (pending licenses considered)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• Skills in continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, triage, and ventilated patient care
• Fit testing and CPI certification required (travelers can obtain CPI through appropriate channels)
• Clean license with no suspensions; probations reviewed individually
• Flu vaccination required unless medically exempt with documentation

Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency nursing care in a 5-bed unit plus 2 endoscopy beds
• Perform diagnostic services such as electrocardiography, respiratory monitoring, nuclear medicine, radiology, suturing, and splint application
• Float within the clinical scope as needed to support unit operations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

Schedule:
• Night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Some flexibility for blocked schedule requests
