Provide critical care and support as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role demands quick decision-making skills in response to evolving patient conditions, excellent communication with physicians regarding diagnostic results and clinical changes, and adherence to regulatory standards including EMTALA and mandatory abuse reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct patient care within the scope of emergency nursing practice. • Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patients’ clinical conditions. • Coordinate and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members. • Oversee patient and family education, facilitating understanding and compliance with treatment plans. • Guide nursing personnel activities maintaining professional care standards. • Ensure strict patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Proven experience in Emergency Room nursing. • Strong knowledge of EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting procedures. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple patient situations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
