Responsibilities: - Provide expert nursing care in a 28-bed Emergency Room department, including trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms. - Manage fast patient turnovers with efficiency and compassion. - Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes. - Adhere to all safety and healthcare regulations while maintaining a calm and supportive environment. - Participate in all onboarding and orientation activities, including an employee health appointment prior to start. Qualifications or Desired Experience: - Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Hawaii prior to assignment start date. - Experience working in Emergency Room settings preferred. - Ability to work the assigned night shifts (three 12-hour shifts weekly) following orientation. - Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Schedule/Hours: - Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours), following the initial orientation week. - Must arrive the Thursday before the assignment begins for mandatory pre-employment health appointment on Friday. This is a 15-week contract position well-suited for nurses looking to expand their experience in emergency nursing within an engaging healthcare environment.
