Experience providing emergency care across the lifespan in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers a 12-hour shift schedule, working 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend commitment and a guaranteed 36 hours weekly. Key qualifications for this position include: • Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 3 years' experience in emergency nursing • Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS; Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred • Proven ability to manage care for medical, trauma, and mental health patients • Comfort with a patient ratio of 1:4 in a 32-bed emergency department equipped with advanced resources such as a Level I fluid warmer and Epic EMR system • A team-oriented approach to patient care and collaboration Responsibilities include delivering high-quality emergency nursing care across all age groups, performing rapid patient assessments, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to facility protocols. Nurses will also complete assigned onboarding education modules prior to their first shift to ensure seamless integration into the unit. The emergency department operates within a supportive culture valuing professionalism and adherence to dress code standards—navy scrubs are required.
