An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Emergency Room expertise to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position requires a professional with strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to variable shift schedules. The role offers a mid-evening to early morning shift pattern, with a focus on delivering high-quality care during critical hours.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency room patients, addressing urgent and critical health needs.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system to document patient care accurately.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, applying BLS, ACLS, and PALS skills.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations during every shift.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current California RN License (required)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Proficiency and experience with the EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including 1p-1a, 4p-4a, or 7p-7a shifts, with a commitment to every other weekend
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, essential for emergency nursing
Schedule:
• Mid 3x12-Hour shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM), variable shifts as outlined above
