An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic emergency department. This role involves delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, assessing outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal medical and nursing management. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct nursing care to emergency patients with urgency and precision. • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary. • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. • Utilize electronic health records proficiently, with the ability to learn Meditech systems quickly. • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Current Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN license. • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. • Minimum of three years’ experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred. • Strong clinical judgment and ability to perform in a high-acuity setting. • Ability to upload credentialing documents at least five business days before start date. Schedule: • Wednesday start dates with 48-hour weekly shifts. • Orientation week guarantees 36 hours due to the midweek start.
