ER RN - Sanford, Maine in Alfred, ME

An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support a dedicated ED team in a contract role located in Sanford, Maine. This 13-week assignment offers a structured 36-hour work week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts with varied schedules to accommodate patient census, including day, evening, and night shifts.

Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to manage emergency cases.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Support patient and family education as required during and after care.
• Adhere strictly to timecard policies to ensure proper processing.

Qualifications:
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is advantageous.
• Previous experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred.
• Charge nurse and preceptor experience are beneficial but not mandatory.

Schedule:
• Typically 3 - 12-hour shifts per week.
• Shift options range between:
• 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
• 11:00 am to 11:30 pm
• 1:00 pm to 1:30 am
• 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• No on-call requirements.
