Responsibilities
Position details:
• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• 8am – 5pm
Position will provide care for patients across the life span. Performs health assessments, follow-up exams for acute & chronic disease management, order & interpret diagnostic tests, medication management.
Our ideal candidate will be an FNP with primary care experience treating all ages. New grads with a passion for learning & growing will also be considered.

The town offers beautiful views, plenty of outdoor hiking activities, and most of the town is easily accessed by foot or bicycle. The city has a blend of college-town and historical amenities. Centra offers primary care and specialty services across Central and Southern Virginia—from Lynchburg to Danville, Farmville, Moneta, and Bedford. CMG includes family practices, specialists, and surgeons in fields such as cardiology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, urology, and more.
CMG is also home to the Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency, a training program for future family physicians, many of whom hold academic appointments with institutions like UVA, VCU, VCOM, and Liberty University.

Qualifications
Required Education: Completion of medical degree and residency training in a primary care specialty from an American Medical Association- (AMA) approved program or other schools with credentials approved by the Medical Staff and Board of Centra
Required Certifications and Licensures: MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialists (ABM) board in physician's primary specialty
