
Float Dialysis Registered Nurse in Duncan, SC
Job Description
How You'll Change Lives: As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will play a crucial role in a collaborative team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist and oversee Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in providing care to patients living with kidney disease.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Patient Care: You'll work directly with patients to ensure they receive safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical assessments before and after treatments, as well as closely monitoring patients during treatment sessions. Ensuring quality renal care involves reviewing patient medication profiles monthly and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Teamwork: As a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, you'll engage in all necessary patient assessment and care planning activities, while ensuring that staffing requirements at the center are consistently met, following the direction of the Administrator and adhering to state regulations.
• Safety & Quality: You will follow company policies and state and federal regulations under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Participation in staff meetings and ongoing education will be required to maintain a high level of care.
What We're Looking For:
• Current nursing license in the applicable state.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• One or more years of current nursing experience preferred.
• Previous dialysis nursing experience preferred.
