Summary Responsible for the leadership, coordination and supervision of the specified unit(s) under their purview. Primary duties include responsibility for day to day operations, financial accountability, and upholding quality and patient safety standards. They will have direct oversight, where applicable, of the supervisor(s), charge nurses, nursing and support staff. The Nurse Manager will plan, direct and evaluate total nursing care. Practices within the scope prescribed by the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Units that manager oversees: Inpatient Wound Care, Dialysis, Float Pool, Patient Care Sitters, and Clinical Decision Unit.
