Float Pool RN – Medical Surgical 📍 Location: Gainesville, FL Position Type: Permanent / Full-Time Note: Candidates must live within a commutable distance. Schedule • 3 x 12-hour shifts • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating weekends) • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotating weekends) • Required to work every other weekend Interview Process • Initial virtual interview • Mandatory in-person interview prior to offer, which may include: • Unit shadowing • Facility tour • Leadership meeting Role Overview A large acute-care hospital in the Gainesville, Florida area is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to support multiple Medical-Surgical units. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly to varying unit workflows and patient populations. The Float Pool RN delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while floating between Med-Surg units as staffing needs require.
