Float Registered Nurses supervise patient care at multiple sites within the organization. They address physical and psychological needs of patients, families, and assigned team members. This position supports healing by coordinating with physicians and staff for comprehensive support.North Country Healthcare operates four medical facilities, including Androscoggin Valley Hospital, North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, and Weeks Medical Center in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire. The network delivers integrated patient care through community hospitals, specialty clinics, and home health services. North Country Healthcare employs numerous physicians and providers to serve communities with commitment to health and well-being.Daily tasks include promoting and restoring patient health through the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and families. Nurses supervise assigned team members and report to their Nurse Manager and Chief Nursing Officer. They manage care at various locations within the affiliation. One challenge involves attending a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH, for training and compliance information.This full-time position offers travel reimbursement for those whose home base is not Weeks Medical Center. New hires must attend orientation as required. Locations include facilities in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire.
