Qualifications:
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing is required. Specialized training or certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Active Ohio Nursing license and RN required. BLS certification is preferred.
• Competency/Skills: Ability to perform essential duties, demonstrate independent judgment, and possess cultural competency. Strong interpersonal communication skills and adherence to professional conduct are essential.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or psychiatry is preferred.

Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in our Residential Program, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing to provide essential psychiatric nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers.
• Engage with clients, caregivers, and significant others to promote effective treatment.
• Deliver behavioral health education and apply behavioral management strategies.
• Assess clients' treatment needs and connect them with appropriate services.
• Provide insights on physical health aspects related to client care, including medication education.
• Guide clients in accessing community resources.
• Lead daily departmental activities as a shift charge nurse.
• Meet with clients independently for assessments and triage.
• Document all observations and interventions meticulously while collaborating with team members.
