Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50
Pay Info: This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus!
Job Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate, resident-centered care to our long-term care residents. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will assist with daily living activities and healthcare needs, ensuring that every resident receives the attention and support they deserve.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
• Supporting residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking, using proper techniques.
• Documenting resident care activities and communicating any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
• Collecting vital signs and non-invasive body fluid specimens.
• Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meal preparation and service.
• Maintaining cleanliness in resident living areas through housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.
Qualifications
We are seeking motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• A minimum age of 16, with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or the ability to obtain certification within four months of employment.
• Completion of yearly competency testing and a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.
