Location: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50
Pay Info: $5000 Sign On Bonus
Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to residents during scheduled work hours in long-term care. Your responsibility is to deliver resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities, all under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will be expected to understand and address the physical and psychological needs of the residents as outlined in their care plans.
As a committed member of our nursing team, you will:
• Follow infection prevention and control policies diligently.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor and record vital signs and provide emotional support.
• Help residents with mobility through safe transfer techniques and exercises.
• Contribute to meal preparation and ensure a positive dining experience for the residents.
• Document resident interactions and communicate any condition changes to the charge nurse.
• Support housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
• Encourage resident engagement in wellness and recreational programs.
Qualifications
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who meet the following criteria:
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Previous clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required; training will be provided if not certified.
• Successful completion of annual competency testing and maintaining at least 12 hours of continuing education each year.
• For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.
• A valid driver's license and medical qualification may be required, depending on responsibilities.
