Company: Allegheny Health Network Sign-On Bonus: A generous sign-on bonus of $60,000 is available for external hires, with eligibility requiring full-time employment (1.0 FTE) for a minimum of three years in the original position. General Overview: This role involves providing anesthetic care to patients in a surgical environment, ensuring safety and optimal patient outcomes. Essential Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care. Maintain thorough medical record documentation. (45%) • Continuously monitor patients under anesthetic care, addressing any abnormal responses and collaborating with attending physicians for any necessary adjustments to care plans. (35%) • Engage in, develop, and lead performance and quality improvement initiatives. (10%) • Adhere to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory agencies. (5%) • Serve as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary health care team and possibly mentor new staff or students. (5%) • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
