Full-Time CNA-Care Center in Lovell, WY

Full-Time Position Available. Wyoming CNA Certification required. JOB SUMMARY: The CNA will perform various patient care activities and related non-professional duties in caring for the personal needs of residents in this long-term care facility. The duties will be conducted under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical nurse (LPN). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIILITIES: 1. Perform direct personal care to meet the needs of resident’s activities of daily living (ADL’s) requirements including, but not limited to bathing, transferring, repositioning, feeding, toileting, vital signs (VS), weights, oral cares, and social and/or therapeutic communication. 2. Documentation of all direct resident care as specified on the care plan, and as appropriate for the CNA. 3. Follow the previously scheduled resident cares: bath days, hair care days, ambulation plan, etc. 4. Observe and report physical and/or behavioral changes in residents promptly and accurately to the charge nurse. 5. Know, use, and care for equipment and supplies correctly. 6. Work cooperatively and productively with all co-workers. 7. Accept and work effectively in any given assignment, regardless of shift or area of the facility. 8. Maintain confidentiality of residents and/or work situations. 9. Be willing to perform a variety of complex, repetitive tasks, many of which may involve unpleasant conditions.
