Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: Mandan, ND Address: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full Time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00 Pay Info: $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a critical role in delivering professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will: • Utilize your nursing expertise to assess and address residents' physical and psychosocial needs following their personalized care plans. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of each resident. • Document resident interactions and care outcomes accurately in order to maintain comprehensive health records. • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team to provide optimal care. • Offer guidance to residents and their families regarding prevention and treatment plans. • Perform various related duties as assigned to support overall facility operations. Qualifications To thrive in this role, candidates should possess: • A diploma from an accredited practical nursing program; an associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. • Completion of a Board-approved AASPN program with IV therapy as part of the curriculum, if position requires IV management skills. • Supervised clinical experience across the lifespan; or a minimum of 400 hours working as an LPN at another facility. • A current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the State Nursing Board, with multi-state licensure privileges advantageous. • Completion of required continuing education units (CEU) and competency training as mandated.
