Position Summary:
As a Preoperative/Postoperative Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care before and after surgical procedures, utilizing the nursing process framework.

Qualifications:
Education:
• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Experience/Skills:
• Minimum of two (2) years recent OR nursing experience is required.
Licenses/Certificates:
• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) card.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card.
• Specialty certification is preferred.
• Completion of moderate sedation class is required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
Physical Demands:
• As outlined in the Job Functional Match description.
Vision Requirements:
• Ability to adjust vision to meet the demands of nursing duties.
Working Conditions:
• Regular exposure to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens.
• Varied and unpredictable situations.
• Risk of exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness).
• Emergency and crisis situations can occur.
• Mandated irregular hours.
• Occasional pressure from multiple inquiries.
• Exposure to radiation hazards and other bio-hazardous materials.
