Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: Mandan, ND Address: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Evening Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50 Pay Info: $5000 Sign On Bonus Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides essential care to residents in our long-term care facility during scheduled shifts. You'll play a crucial role in delivering resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This includes: • Delivering personalized nursing care and daily living assistance. • Administering age-appropriate care based on individual needs. • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. • Gathering and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support. • Helping residents with mobility, using proper techniques and equipment. • Facilitating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and providing hydration. You will document resident care activities, communicate any changes in their condition, and assist with procedures as needed. Additionally, you may participate in wellness programs and keep communal living areas clean. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: • A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. • A minimum age of 16 years. • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred. • A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or the willingness to obtain it within four months. Continuing education is essential; you will need 12 hours annually to maintain your qualifications.
