Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
Certification/Licenses: Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or a compact state license. BLS certification required or to be obtained within 2 weeks of hire date. All other necessary certifications must be acquired within 6 months of hire. If applicable certifications are held at the time of hire, they must be maintained with no grace period for renewal.
• Current knowledge and skills relevant to the age/type of patient population served
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in care delivery
• Effective communicator with ability to tailor communication to the developmental age of the patient

Work in a clean, well-lit, and ventilated smoke-free environment. Be prepared for stressful professional relationships and variable working hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.
Physical Requirements:
You must be capable of handling emergency and crisis situations, with the ability to perform prolonged standing and walking. This role involves considerable physical effort to position, push, and transfer patients and equipment. Additionally, you should be capable of reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Ability to judge distances, see peripherally, and distinguish colors is essential. Normal or correctable hearing and visual acuity and proficient manual dexterity and fine motor coordination are necessary.
