Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00 Pay Info: $20,000 Sign On Bonus Job Summary As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate nursing care to residents in long-term care facilities. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician while demonstrating a solid understanding of nursing principles and best practices. Your responsibilities will include: • Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents. • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. • Contributing to the assessment and care planning for residents. • Documenting all interactions and care outcomes. • Building effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers. • Providing guidance and education to residents and families on treatment and prevention plans. You will also be expected to recognize urgent situations, recommend solutions, and assist in emergencies. Your ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality will be essential. Qualifications • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; an Associate degree is preferred. • Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board, and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. • If applicable, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. • Must have clinical experience across the life span as part of your nursing program or at least 400 hours as an LPN at a previous facility. • Commitment to ongoing education and competency requirements.
